Banking & insurance websites are challenging on Information Architecture aspects: they use to have a lot of information, which mostly requires for example fat menus in order to give visibility to sections and subsections, without requiring too many clicks.
Once solved on the Web version, the UX Designer also has to fix the user experience on the mobile version by adapting if necessary the menu’s behaviour to a different kind of device.
I was involved in a lot of redesign for banking & insurance websites: this gave me the chance to observe recurring patterns and to achieve a huge knowledge about case studies and best practices in the sector.
